The touchscreen on that joint is the most responsive touch screen I've ever used...and it's fast as shit...

The next release is gonna have to do something about the fingerprints though...it's atrocious how easily it gets smudged...

It also doesn't do well with sunlight...the glare is pretty bad...it's almost like a damn mirror...

The lack of a camera is a pretty substantial deficiency...they have a the space for it (you can see a lil hole in the middle right where the webcam is on a mac), but if they add that, the ability for folks to use Skype from home or a wifi hotspot would be major...

The iBooks shit is extremely intuitive...the page turning is really cool, as well as the ability to jump forwards in a book...

I already spoke about the iPhone apps...how you can use them, but they only occupy the amount of space that they would on the iPhone. You can double size it, but things get pixelated pretty badly when you do that...

Other than that...it's a cool ass gadget...it's not gonna replace a laptop if you actually need, a laptop...but as a web browsing, digital photo album, light email device, it hits the mark...

No, because Apple wants to promote screen durability... the fact that they sell and recommend them in store actually send a signal that they will scratch.. which they don't.. but still

I bought mine to cut down on what you've stated here... GLARE... but you can try to scratch it with keys, a quarter or anything... it won't scratch...

The glare and the fingerprints both are issues...the newer iPhones aren't as bad with fingerprints, so I'd imagine that the iPads released in June or at a minimum by Christmas will have better screens that don't pick up fingerprints as easily...and have anti-glare coatings or some shit...

Yeah, they did better on the 3GS iphones, with regard to fingerprints and glare... the 3G is just a piece of fucking glass... smudges and fingerprints are a major problem...

but with the crystal glare protector... no prints... no glare.. nothin..
